Print hours + Filament
Every price is only these two numbers, plus delivery. Orders have a $15 minimum.
Print hours are how much time the printer spends making your part. This covers machine wear, electricity, setup, and handling.
Multicolor prints take longer
Printing works one layer at a time. With multiple colors, the printer has to fully swap out the filament for each color on every layer, which adds a lot of print time.
Each swap takes the same amount of time no matter how many parts are on the plate. Fill the build plate and the swap time is split across every part, so each one costs less.
Filament is charged at the price we pay Bambu Lab for it. If you want, you can work out this cost yourself to check us. Not sure which filament you want? Just tell us in your quote and we'll talk through what's best for your part.
PLA
Clean, detailed prints with a smooth finish and the widest range of colors. Great for decor, prototypes, organizers, and toys. Can soften in high heat, like a hot car.
PETG
Tougher and more heat-resistant than PLA, with a little flex so it bends instead of snapping. Ideal for brackets, clips, tool holders, and enclosures.
ABS
Engineering-grade plastic for parts that handle heat and the outdoors, like automotive, industrial, and outdoor components.
TPU
Flexible and rubber-like. Bends and squishes without breaking. Ideal for phone cases, seals, gaskets, feet, and grips. One color only. TPU has to print slowly, so a part takes about 2 to 3 times as long as the same part in other filaments, and print hours make up most of the price.
Most PLA colors are available. PETG, ABS, and TPU colors are limited to what's in stock; other colors can be ordered in but add extra time.
